Alumni.

Being part of the Res is about being part of a community that is over 50 years old. Many others have made up the KSR community over the years, including parents, Committee members and people from Kew Baptist Church. As such, we like to think that our ongoing community is broader than our alumni and includes all those who have been friends along the way. Friends of KSR exists to keep the sense of community alive once people have gone their separate ways.

We are continually looking for new ways to connect with our friends. Please update your details with us to help us keep in touch, and so you can let us know if you’d like to be involved in the ongoing activities of the Res in any way.

KSR Accommodation Scholarship Fund

We at KSR strive to provide affordable accommodation to students making their way to Melbourne from regional and rural parts of Australia, especially for those in need of financial assistance.

The KSR Accommodation Scholarship Fund has been established with the Australian Communities Foundation, which acts as the trustee for the fund. The KSR Accommodation Scholarship is used to provide fee relief for those in financial need.

To find out how to apply for a scholarship, please email the KSR office - info@kewstudentresidence.com.au

Our scholarship fund operates from donations. We encourage all Friends of KSR to consider making a contribution to the fund through a once-off donation, regular giving or by leaving a bequest. Donations are tax-deductible. Our vision is that the fund will one day provide enough fee relief to ensure that financial reasons will never prevent someone from living at the Res in order to undertake tertiary study. Anything given is much appreciated as we seek to make tertiary education in Melbourne available to all.

If you would like to leave a bequest, see more details here.
